HAWAIIAN

Aloha

When most Haoles (people not from the islands) think of Hawaiian food, they think of Luau dishes. That's great, BUT, there is an unbelievable amount of food that was either born in the islands or are the result of taking food from other countries and adding the Hawaiian flavor kiss to them.  Plus, immigrants in the early years brought foods that have been enjoyed to this day.

You've gotta have a Loco Moco and there almost as many recipes for it as there are people making it.

You can't forget Huli-Huli Chicken or Char Siu Pork, or Mahi-Mahi made any one of probably a hundred ways. Stick around and we'll take a look at these and many more.
