Korean Corn Cheese
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Frozen Corn
- ½ Small Yellow Onion
- 3 Tbs Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbs sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- Grated Parmesan Cheese (to taste)
- 1 Tbs Sambal (optional)
- 2 Tbs Unsalted butter
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, put corn, onion, Mayonnaise, sugar, salt, black pepper, cheese and Sambal (if
using) and mix well. Place small saute pan on medium heat and add butter. Once butter is melted add
corn mixture to pan and mix again. Smooth the top and sprinkle Parmesan Cheese on top. (I personally
believe more is better)
- At this time you can cover pan until cheese is melted* or place in broiler until cheese is melted and
slightly brown.
* I heat mixture until hot enough for cheese to be melting. I then use a culinary torch to brown cheese.
Serve while dish is still hot and bubbling. Your guests will love it.
